The former Miss Israel is starring in Wonder Woman, out in June

The previous titleholder of Miss Israel is taking on a role in the upcoming movie Wonder Woman, set for release in June. In a recent magazine feature, the Israeli beauty exudes elegance, donning a stylish Bottega Veneta taupe shirt paired with a matching skirt, a figure-hugging Diane von Furstenberg dress, and a playful ’70s-inspired Prada dress. In a nod to her character’s patriotism, she also sports a red, white, and blue Gucci cardigan jacket over an Hermès swimsuit. Despite her graceful demeanor and celebrity status, Gal revealed that she never had intentions of pursuing an acting career and had to be persuaded to take that direction. Following her victory in Miss Israel in 2004, Gal served two years of military duty in the IDF before enrolling in law school. It was during her studies that she was approached and encouraged to audition for a role as a Bond girl.

Reluctant: She didn't even want to be an actress, and was studying law following a stint in the IDF when she was approached to audition to play a Bond girl

Not exactly thrilled about the idea of becoming an actress, she was focused on studying law after serving in the IDF when she was unexpectedly asked to audition for the role of a Bond girl.

She first appeared as Wonder Woman in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

In 2016, she made her debut as Wonder Woman in the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. At first, she declined the offer. “I said, ‘No way,’ I’m focused on my studies in law and international relations. I thought I was too serious and smart to become an actress, and the script was in English,” she explained. Despite not landing the role, she got a part in Fast & Furious and started getting modeling opportunities, prompting her to leave school. Her portrayal of Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice received mixed reactions, with some questioning her casting despite her undeniable beauty.

Seriously? Gal said some comic book fans were upset with her casting because her breasts aren't big enough

Are you serious? Gal mentioned that some fans of comic books were displeased with her being cast because they felt her breasts weren’t large enough.

Bust boost: She was pregnant while filming and would come to set with migraines

Boosting her bust: During filming, she was expecting a baby and would often arrive on set with a headache.

Next thing: Though she wasn't cast as a Bond girl, she did get a role in Fast & Furious

Next up: Even though she didn’t land a role as a Bond girl, she did manage to snag a part in the Fast & Furious franchise. “My boobs were the issue. Yeah, it was a big deal,” she shared. “The internet really focused on the crucial aspect of Wonder Woman.” Interestingly, during the filming of the original ensemble movie, her chest may have appeared a bit larger due to her pregnancy on set. “I discovered I was expecting a baby while working on Justice League. I suffered from terrible migraines. I’d show up in sunglasses, and everyone assumed I was being a diva, but I was simply pregnant,” she revealed. She is now the proud mother of two daughters, Alma who is five years old, and newborn Maya, with her husband Yaron Varsano, who works in real estate.
